EA offers Dead Space for free

In a new promotion, EA is giving away a game on Origin for free.
The “On The House” promo is currently offering the original Dead Space for free to Origin PC users. According to the page, the game is completely free and yours to keep forever once it is added to your Origin account.
Small print states that the game will be free until 8 May 2014, which is when presumably a new title will take its place.
This program seems similar to that of Sony’s PS+ and Microsoft’s Games With Gold, trying to entice gamers to use their digital distribution services by giving away older titles for free.
