COD: Ghosts Onslaught DLC free weekend

Activision and Infinity Ward have announced plans to host a Call of Duty: Ghosts Onslaught DLC Pack Free Trial on Xbox Live this coming weekend.

Starting Friday, March 21st, and going through Monday, March 24th, gamers on Xbox One and Xbox 360 will be able to try out Onslaught DLC at no cost. The free trial includes the four new small-to-medium multiplayer maps - Fog, BayView, Containment, and Ignition; the dual-purpose Maverick weapon; and the first installment in Extinction's four-part episodic narrative - Episode 1: Nightfall.

Owners of Call of Duty: Ghosts will just need to sign-in to Xbox Live, download the Call of Duty: Ghosts Onslaught DLC from the in-game store and start playing.

It was only earlier this month that Activision offered a free weekend for the whole game on Xbox Live. The publisher says this trial may be available on other platforms in the future.
