Ubisoft reports Q3 FY2013 results

Ubisoft has released its sales figures for the fiscal quarter ended December 31, 2013.
Sales for the uarter came to €520 million, down 35.2% compared with the €802 million recorded for third-quarter 2012-13.
Most notably, Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag saw 10 million sell-in units. Another robust performance was recorded by Just Dance 2014, which recorded some 6 million sell-in units. Lower-than-expected sales for Rocksmith 2014 resulted in only around 1 million sell-in units.
Digital sales of €53 million, representing a 4% contraction on the third quarter of 2012-13, when these sales were propelled by the release of Far Cry 3.
The next quarter will see the retail release of South Park: The Stick of Truth and Rayman Legends.
