Battlefield 4 hosting Player Appreciation Month
Bonuses for all users during the month of February
DICE has announced the Battlefield 4 Player Appreciation Month that starts on Saturday, February 1 2014.
Every day that users log into the game in February, will receive a Battlepack. During weekdays, these will be Bronze, and during Saturdays and Sundays we will give away Silver Battlepacks. The Battlepacks usually contain bonuses like XP Boosts and soldier camos, and are normally unlocked at every two soldier levels.
DICE will also offer shortcut bundles, that will unlock all grenades and handguns in the game for players that wish to speed through this process. Premium users will get additional shortcuts, unlocking DMR’s and shotguns. These shortcut bundles will be free during the month.
Players will be able to participate in global DICE Community Missions where they can work together to unlock Gold Battlepacks. During the first of these Community-wide challenges, DICE will ask players to grab a set number of dog tags during a specified time.
Finally, the company will run a double XP weekend for all players. Premium members will also get an additional double XP weekend during the Player Appreciation Month as an added bonus.
Battlefield 4 first launched last Fall on PC, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation 4.
