Company of Heroes 2 free to play this weekend
Weekend promo allows Steam users to try the RTS
Sega has announced that its strategy game Company of Heroes 2 will receive a Steam discount this weekend, including free offerings for new as well as current players.
During the Steam Free Weekend, prospective new players now have the chance to try out the RTS by downloading it via the Steam library. The entire base game will automatically appear in every user’s library for free between today, January 16, 2014, 10 am PST and Sunday, January 19, 2014, 1PM PST.
During the same period, all paid multiplayer commanders for Company of Heroes 2 will be available for free as well, including for those players participating in the free trial.
Additionally, SEGA also announced that Company of Heroes 2 will be seeing a 66% off sales promotion over the weekend, offering the game at $13.59. All DLC is also discounted.
Company of Heroes 2 launched on PC last summer.
