3 million Xbox Ones sold in 2013
Microsoft announces the latest consumer sale numbers
Microsoft has said that over 3 million Xbox One consoles were sold to consumers before the end of 2013.
The number comes from 13 countries where the new console is currently available, after releasing in November 2013. The Xbox One is claimed to be the fastest-selling console in the U.S. during the launch month in November.
The company says millions of hours of live TV have been watched and millions of hours of app entertainment have been enjoyed.
The Xbox One is scheduled to arrive in more countries around the globe this year.
