First group of ID@Xbox developers announced

Microsoft looks to kickoff self-publishing early next year

Posted on

Microsoft has announced further details on the ID@Xbox program that allows independent developers to self-publish on Xbox One.

The company has revealed the first group of developers that will be participating in the program starting early next year. Such developers include Inis, Comcept, Vlambeer, Double Eleven, Slightly Mad Studios, Born Ready, Crytek, Happion Labs, Team 17, Panic Button, Double Fine, Gaijin Games, Hidden Path, The Odd Gentlemen, Way Forward, Other Ocean, and Team Colorblind.

The list also includes XBLA veterans, teams like Signal Studios, Zen Studios, Bongfish, Half-Brick and Ninja Bee, as well as XBLIG alumni like Zeboyd Games.

Capy and Behaviour are among the Canadian developers who are working on titles that will ship via ID@Xbox.

Microsoft says that the list is far from complete, and many more developers will be announcing self-published projects for Xbox One via the program at a later date.
