PlayStation 4 launch day apps revealed
Popular services for movies, TV, and Live Sports will be ready
Sony Computer Entertainment today announced a line-up of digital entertainment apps that will be available when the PlayStation 4 (PS4) launches on November 15, 2013.
In addition to Sony's own Music Unlimited and Video Unlimited, there will be a variety of digital entertainment from popular services available starting at launch. Entertainment apps available on November 15 include Amazon Instant Video, Crackle, Crunchyroll, EPIX, Hulu Plus, NBA Game Time, Netflix, NHL GameCenter LIVE, Redbox Instant, VUDU, and YuppTV.
Users will be responsible for applicable subscription fees for the apps. However, unlike on the Xbox, these apps will be available without a need to subcsribe to PlayStation Plus.
PlayStation 4 will be in stores starng next Friday for $399.
