Hellraid delayed to 2014

Techland has announced that its upcoming game, Hellraid, will now be released digitally in 2014.

Originally planned for late 2013, the team has selected to add new features and game modes for both single-player and co-op, thus needing more time to implement all the content.

“For example we want to redesign the magic system to make it even more powerful and diverse, add new ways of casting spells and a set of new, more visually stunning spells,” said the studio in a statement.

Hellraid promises a campaign of hack & slash action and competitive co-op multiplayer that pits four players against the armies of hell – and each other – in a battle for points, rewards and fame.

Hellraid is planned for release on PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
