Batman: Arkham Origins available now
Origins story of masked hero is in stores today
Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and DC Entertainment have confirmed the launch of Batman: Arkham Origins.
The game follows a pivotal tale set on Christmas Eve where Batman is hunted by eight of the deadliest assassins from the DC Comics Universe. Along the way, players will meet The Joker, Black Mask, Penguin, Deathstroke, Bane, Deadshot, Copperhead and others.
Also new to the franchise is the online multiplayer mode, which is developed by Splash Damage. Friends and foes can play online in 3v3v2 gameplay that blends traditional Arkham gameplay with third-person shooter mechanics. Gamers can hunt as Batman or Robin against friends and other online gamers – or as a Super-Villain Elite and be part of The Joker or Bane’s gang.
Batman: Arkham Origins is in stores for PC, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and Wii U.
