Braid Debuts at Retail for PC
MumboJumbo launches Braid at stores nationwide
Braid will hit retail stores across the U.S. in January. MumboJumbo, a leading developer and publisher of casual games, will publish the unique platform game for PC and distribute the title to retail stores nationwide.
Developed by Number None, Braid is a platform game in a painterly style that allows players to manipulate the flow of time to solve puzzles. The journey follows Tim on his expedition to save the princess. In each world, the player has different powers that impact the passing of time in strange ways. The player must figure out how to use these powers to solve each of the 60 levels.
“Braid is a really exceptional game that is highly polished and fits in well with our premium casual games lineup for 2010,” said Mark Cottam, CEO of MumboJumbo. “We’re excited to bring Braid to the retail market, and we feel that MumboJumbo can really help round out the game’s reach.”
Braid will retail for $19.99 and is rated E 10+ with descriptors for Language and Mild Cartoon Violence. The game will be available at retail stores across North America, including Wal-Mart.
