The Witcher comic book coming next year
Dark Horse to publish visual novel based on the game franchise
CD Projekt Red and Dark Horse have announced plans to release a comic based on The Witcher video game series.
Inspired by a series of novels, the comic series introduces a new adventure featuring Geralt of Rivia. It will be created by Paul Tobin, the Eisner Award winning writer of Bandette, with art by Joe Querio (Lobster Johnson, B.P.R.D.) and covers by Dave Johnson (100 Bullets).
Witcher #1 will be available for purchase March 19th, 2014 in comic shops everywhere.
With two games already available, the next title is The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. It will be released on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in 2014.
