Clan system details for Call of Duty: Ghosts
Create or join a clan in Ghosts before release
Activision has announced that starting today through October 25th, Call of Duty fans can create and/or join a Call of Duty: Ghosts clan.
Existing Call of Duty Elite Clan Leaders will be able to reserve their current Call of Duty Elite Clan Name as their Call of Duty: Ghosts Clan Name on a first-come, first-serve basis, as well as copy over and manage their existing Call of Duty Elite Clan Member roster.
New players and players who don't already have a Call of Duty Elite account can sign up for a free account to create their own Call of Duty: Ghosts Clan, or join an existing one.
Clans in Call of Duty: Ghosts are no longer separated by platform, and one Clan can exist across Xbox and PlayStation platforms - plus, with PC now supported. Any time two or more members of the same Clan play together online, they’ll earn Clan XP and work toward unlocking stuff for the whole Clan.
In Clan Wars, your Clan will be matched up against seven other Clans in a territory war that lasts two weeks. All you need to do to participate is be in a Clan, and play Call of Duty: Ghosts multiplayer. Placing in the top three in a Clan War will give your Clan more rewards, both in-game, and in the new Call of Duty app.
See the new Clans trailer below. Call of Duty: Ghosts launches on PC, Xbox 360, and PS3 on November 5th, and together with PS4 and Xbox One later in the same month.
