Microsoft unlocks its service for all to try
Microsoft has announced plans to unlock Xbox Live Gold this weekend in multiple regions worldwide for users to try.
This means the entire catalog of entertainment apps as well as multiplayer gaming are available to anyone on Xbox 360 for free from Oct. 4 – 6, as long as you're in one of the countries listed below.
Regions include: United States, Canada, UK, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Czech Republic, Denmark, Egypt, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, Hungary, India, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Malaysia, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Philippines, Portugal, South Africa, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Slovakia, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, and Vietnam.
Xbox Live usually costs $59.99 per year.
