The Last of Us DLC plans announced
Singleplayer and multiplayer content included with Season pass
Naughty Dog have finally revealed the DLC plans for The Last of Us, with content included in the Season Pass.
The first of three Season Pass DLC drops is the Abandoned Territories Map Pack. Included are four multiplayer maps - Suburbs, Bus Depot, Hometown, and Bookstore. These maps will be available October 15.
Next up will be a story-driven single player DLC. This is the first time that the developers have decided to release offline story content as an extra download. This second DLC drop is currently planned for release around the December-January.
The third Season Pass DLC will also be multiplayer focused and will arrive in the first half of 2014. In the meantime, bonus items will be added to the Season Pass holders. Over 60 different head items for your multiplayer characters ranging from a Nightmare Mask to a Pigskin Hat will be free for all Season Pass buyers. These head items will be available for everyone else to purchase as well.
The Last of Us was released this past summer, exclusively on PlayStation 3.
