GTA V sells $1 billion during first three days

Take-Two Interactive Software has announced that Grand Theft Auto V has achieved worldwide retail sales of more than $1 billion during its first three days on sale, according to Company estimates.
The company claims this marks the fastest that any entertainment property, including video games and feature films, has reached this significant milestone.
By comparison, it took Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 15 days to reach this sales number. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 reached the same mark after 16 days.
In film, Avatar, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2, and The Avengers reached that number in 19 days.
Grand Theft Auto V is currently available for the PlayStation 3 and the Xbox 360.
