Dark Souls 2 coming in March 2014

Namco Bandai Games has announced the details surrounding its Dark Souls II Collector’s Edition and Black Armour Pre-Order Edition, alongside a release date for the action RPG.

Simply pre-ordering the game will automatically grant you the Dark Souls II Black Armour Edition when the game launches; while supplies last. The Black Armour Edition features a metal case that contains both the game disc and the official game soundtrack.

Meanwhile, the Collector’s Edition will feature a premium quality Warrior Knight figurine measuring in at 12 inches / 30 cm in height and weighing in at nearly 16 ounces / 450 grams. Also included is an exclusive hardbound art-book, full-colour fabric map of the Dark Souls 2 game world, and a metal game case from the Black Armour Edition which will contain both the game disc and the official game soundtrack.

Last but not least, Dark Souls 2 will be launching in Europe and Australasia on March 14, 2014 and in North America on March 11, 2014 on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. The PC edition is promised to follow shortly after.
