Final Fantasy XIV beta set for PlayStation 4
A Realm Reborn will host a beta testing period on the new console
Square Enix has announced that the beta tests of Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn on the PlayStation 4 system will start on February 22, 2014.
There is no word yet on what will be included in the beta, though it is likely to focus on stress testing the servers and fixing bugs on the new platform.
Players on the PlayStation 3 system will be able to migrate to the PlayStation 4 version for free. The character data will carry over and players will be able to continue on PS4 where they left off.
Currently, Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn is available for PlayStation 3 and Windows PC.
