Blizzard Entertainment has announced that Diablo 3 has officially been released on consoles, for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
The console versions have been custom-tailored for gamepad-driven action, with a dynamic camera perspective, as well as a new user interface and updated control system. Players can take on the game alone or in a party of up to four via same-screen local cooperative play or online.
Diablo 3 was originally released for Windows PC on May 15, 2012. As of December 31, 2012, Diablo 3 had sold through more than 12 million copies worldwide.
