PlayStation 4 launching in November

Sony has taken to a stage at Gamescom to officially announce the PlayStation 4 launch date to be November 15 in North America and November 29 in Europe.

This falls within expectations of most people, as it gives the company time to hit the early Holiday season in the US and Xmas holidays across the globe.

The console will launch at the previously announced $399 price point. It was also revealed that over 1 million preorders have already been recorded for the system.
