Kiefer Sutherland is the new voice of Snake
Seasoned TV actor will take on the iconic role
TV actor Kiefer Sutherland has been revealed as the new voice of Snake in the upcoming title Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain.
The news came during Konami’s third annual Pre-E3 Show. Previously, David Hayter has held this role since the beginning of the franchise in late 1990s.
Kiefer Sutherland is a British-Canadian actor, producer and director. He is best known for his portrayal of Jack Bauer on the Fox series 24 for which he won an Emmy Award, a Golden Globe Award, two Screen Actors Guild Awards, and two Satellite Awards. He also starred as Martin Bohm in the Fox drama Touch.
Sutherland's only previous voiceover experience comes from playing Sgt. Roebuck in Call of Duty: World at War; as well as playing Jack Bauer in 24: The Game.
