Guild Wars 2 price reduced

NCSoft and ArenaNet have announced that Guild Wars 2 is now available at a lower price point.
The MMO, which released in late summer 2012, can now be purchased for $49.99, which is a $10 discount from original asking price. The new price is permanent, and there are no subscription fees after initial purchase.
Since launch, developers have regularly hosted special events like Halloween, Lost Shores and Wintersday, introduced players to the Super Adventure Box, and engaged players with the Living World philosophy.
Guild Wars 2 is available for PC.
