EA not currently developing Wii U games
Publisher says disappointing sales are to blame
Electronic Arts has said that it currently has no games in development for Nintendo's Wii U console.
The news comes after weeks of silence regarding any Wii U versions of games that EA has already announced for other platforms, including FIFA, Madden, Battlefield 4, and others.
Most notable EA titles to release on Wii U are Mass Effect 3 and Need for Speed Most Wanted. However since then, the publisher hasn't revealed any plans for future support.
With such a large publisher potentially ending their support, Wii U could be in for some troubled times as a console that is already struggling with a lack of game releases.
