The Showdown Effect demo released

Paradox Interactive today allowed gamers everywhere a taste of action-movie stardom by releasing a free demo of The Showdown Effect.
The new multiplayer action title from Arrowhead Game Studios, released earlier this week, throws players into a brawl for survival, placing them in the roles of 1980s action hero archetypes armed with a terrifying pile of weapons. The demo will allow players to access the game’s training stage — a singleplayer mode — as a means to get familiar with the controls.
The Showdown Effect is available this week for PC via digital download.
