Ubisoft has announced Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag, which introduces a new hero and time period.
The sequel will focus on pirates. There is not much other information at this point, but a full announcement is expected to be made on Monday. The title is expected to arrive on PC, Xbox 360, Wii U, and PlayStation 3. At this point no next-gen entry for the series exists.
Assassin’s Creed 3 launched last Fall and focused on new historical protagonist while wrapping up the modern day story of Desmond.
