Heavy Rain is getting DLC after release.
Quantic Dream have confirmed that there will be additional episodes for the game after the game launches in 2010.
Quantic Dream have confirmed that there will be additional episodes for the game after the game launches in 2010.
Quantic Dream doesn't want you to buy Heavy Rain and sell it back again after you completed the game. To ensure you don't do this Quantic Dream are going to create some Episodes for the game after it releases early next year.
"Buy the game, don't sell it. Keep it to yourself. You'll need it to continue and experience more episodes in the months following the launch of the game."
In the interview with Joystiq David Cage seemingly confirms that future chapters will be added to the game. It's unclear what these episodes will contain or at what price structure they will have. This move seems to be designed to directly avoid the loss of profits due to pre-owned game sales at popular retailers.
Heavy Rain is heading exclusively to Playstation 3 early 2010.
