Halo: Reach Multiplayer Beta in early 2010
Microsoft reveals that some lucky players will soon be able to get in on the action
Halo fans eager to get a taste of Bungie's upcoming title won't have to wait too much longer. According to Microsoft [via IGN], the multiplayer beta will begin early next year, that is if you still have your Halo 3: ODST game disc.
Microsoft didn't give a firm release date, only saying it's beginning during the Spring 2010 season. At least we know it's avoiding the onslaught of amazing titles early next year will bring. Access to the beta requires players to have an official Halo 3: ODST disc and is selectable though the game's menu.
Fans were given the first look at the game last night when its debut trailer was released. The video introduces players to the Noble Team, a squad of Spartan soldiers set to defend the planet Reach.
Halo: Reach is scheduled for release in Fall 2010 exclusively for Xbox 360.
