Guild Wars 2 celebrates Halloween with Shadow of the Mad King update
MMO to host traditional spooky celebration with update
ArenaNet has said that Shadow of the Mad King, the first major game update for Guild Wars 2, will go live on October 22.
This update will include a number of new features for all players to enjoy, new content to explore and see, and a week-long Halloween event.
Shadow of the Mad King runs from October 22 until November 1 in four acts, though the details for each haven't been revealed.
The Gem Store (real money store) will also get costumes that grant spooky skills, tonics that transform you into ghouls and ghosts, and creepy crawly minis to follow you around. For those not looking to spend any money, free devil horns will be available.
Guild Wars 2 was released in August on Windows PC. For more on this MMO, read our Guild Wars 2 Review.
