Forza Horizon demo next week
Demo includes part of open world, unlocks bonus car
Microsoft, Playground Games, and Turn 10 Studios have announced that a demo for Forza Horizon will be released next week.
The download will be available to download on Xbox LIVE starting October 9th. In the demo, players will get a chance to visit the Colorado setting, driving a number of different cars across a variety of different event types – from Horizon Festival event taking place on the dirt roads of the upper hills – to a street race that find players winding up, around, and over the fictional Finley Dam.
Several of the events in the demo will automatically become Rivals Mode events after completing them, allowing users to compete against one another to set the fastest time. In addition, players will be able to drive and explore a section of the overall game map.
All players who download the Forza Horizon demo and then purchase and play the full game will receive a specially designed custom 2013 SRT Viper GTS. This rare livery will only be available to those who download the demo and purchase and play the game.
Forza Horizon is coming on October 23, 2012 exclusively for Xbox 360.
