Torchlight 2 out now
Sequel to the action RPG is now ready to download, so is the demo
Runic Games has confirmed that its second game, Torchlight II, has been launched and is now available.
The game is offered as a digital download from Steam, Runic Games, Perfect World GamersGate, GameFly, and GameStop.
Runic Games’ CEO Max Schaefer commented: “We are so happy to be releasing Torchlight II. This is the culmination of an incredible effort by a wonderful team of people. I think we have the best community in gaming, and I can't wait for them to get their hands on our game.”
The title was announced in August 2010, as the sequel to Runic Games’ debut Torchlight. The sequel features an expansive overworld, four new classes, and multiplayer games via LAN or Internet. A free playable demo is now available online, at Steam and Runic Games.
Torchlight II is available for PC, with console versions possible in the future.
