PlayStation All Stars Battle Royale announced

SuperBot Entertainment have formally announced PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale.
The title is a crossover fighting game, with a focus on multiplayer and allowing up to four players at the same time. The game features a number of modes for both single and multiplayer, with a focus on online play which features a robust tournament mode. Players will be able to compete against each other as well as play cooperatively.
All-Stars will feature a number of popular PlayStation-brand heroes, from Kratos and Fat Princess to Sweet Tooth and the Rappa. Sly Cooper, Nathan Drake, Colonel Mael Radec and more are also expected to appear.
More details are expected at E3 2012, Battle Royale will be a PlayStation 3 exclusive title.
