Valve potentially developing hardware
Job listings suggest that hardware may be on the way from the publisher
Valve has confirmed via job posting that it's currently developing hardware to "enhance game experiences."
According to the post for an electronics engineer on Valve's jobs page, applicants are invited to "join our highly motivated team that's doing hardware design, prototyping, testing, and production across a wide range of platforms. We're not talking about me-too mice and gamepads here - help us invent whole new gaming experiences."
Valve has previously hinted that it looked into hardware in the past, but nothing concrete ever emerged from those market evaluations. This latest update confirms Valve is at least planning on something - if it's an actual console or just a controller peripheral, we don't know.
