Guild Wars 2 preorders begin

ArenaNet and NCSoft have confirmed that the pre-orders for Guild Wars 2 began today.
Players who pre-purchase the MMO via specific retailers or via buy.guildwars2.com will receive guaranteed entry into beta weekend events and a three-day headstart prior to launch. As a bonus, players who pre-purchase any edition will also receive an exclusive Hero’s Band, providing their Guild Wars 2 characters with a broad range of power boosts.
Guild Wars 2 will launch in Collector’s, Digital Deluxe and Standard/Digital Editions. The Collector’s Edition features a 10-inch hand-painted Rytlock Brimstone statue, hardback art book, and more. The MMO retails at $149.99 for Collector, the Digital Deluxe at $79.99, and the Standard/Digital Edition at $59.99
There is still no set release date, but the game is expected to launch on PC this year.
