The Witcher 2 Enhanced Edition gone gold
Xbox 360 version to launch next month as planned
CD Projekt RED studio confirmed today that The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings Enhanced Edition has gone gold on the Xbox 360 and Windows PC. The Enhanced Edition is now available for pre-order and scheduled to arrive at retail stores on April 17, 2012.
“We are very pleased that The Witcher 2: Assassins Of Kings Enhanced Edition for Xbox 360 is in our spring portfolio,” said Olivier Comte, Senior Vice President, Namco Bandai. “The game is truly a masterpiece and we are excited to bring the complex and non-linear story of Geralt of Rivia to console players”.
The Witcher 2: Assassins Of Kings Enhanced Edition for Xbox 360 is an adaptation of the RPG fantasy game on PC. The game offers more than 40 hours of non-linear gameplay, set in a beautiful dark fantasy setting.
The PC version of Enhanced Edition can also be ordered and will release alongside the Xbox 360 version. All those who already own The Witcher 2 on PC will get the Enhanced Edition updates for free.
