Mass Effect 3 ships 3.5 Million Units
Final chapter of the space RPG claims retail success
BioWare and EA have revealed that over 3.5 million units of Mass Effect 3 have shipped worldwide in its first week of release.
“We have been truly humbled by the amazing response from fans and critics for Mass Effect 3,” said Dr. Ray Muzyka, Co-Founder of BioWare. “We are all incredibly proud of Casey Hudson and the teams in Edmonton and Montreal for delivering the best game BioWare has ever made.”
Mass Effect 3 takes players into a galactic war to save mankind from an ancient alien race known as the Reapers. Players will assume the role of Commander Shepard, a war-torn veteran who’s willing to do whatever it takes to eliminate this nearly unstoppable foe.
Mass Effect 3 is available now on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and Windows PC.
