First Mass Effect 3 DLC detailed
From Ashes includes new squad mate, comes bundled with Collectors Edition
A leak earlier this week has revealed the upcoming DLC From Ashes for Mass Effect 3. BioWare has now provided more details on this additional content.
From Ashes includes the Prothean squad mate, an adventure on Eden Prime, a new weapon, and an alternate appearance for every squad mate. The Collectors Edition includes this DLC in the package, but others will have the option to purchase it via the digital store.
The content in From Ashes was developed by a separate team (after the core game was finished) and not completed until well after the main game went into certification.
Mass Effect 3 is set to release on March 6th, 2012 for PC, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3.
