Gotham City Impostors launched
Unconventional Urban Warfare promised in new downloadable FPS
Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and DC Entertainment have announced the launch of Gotham City Impostors, a download-only multiplayer first-person shooter from Monolith Productions.
Impostors allows up to 12 players to battle for control of an unhinged Gotham City overrun by Impostors inspired by the DC Comics characters Batman and The Joker.
“Gotham City Impostors is a unique first-person multiplayer shooter that delivers a completely different Batman experience that is irreverent, fun and humorous,” said Samantha Ryan, Senior Vice President, Production and Development, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment.
The game can be purchased for 1200 Microsoft Points in the Xbox LIVE Marketplace, and for $14.99 in the PlayStation Network, as well as for PC via digital resellers.
A free downloadable content pack will be available in March. It will include a new “25th Floor” map, as well as over 100 new customization options including weapons, support items, costumes and calling card elements.
