XCOM delayed to next year
2K Games pushes back the release of upcoming shooter to 2013
It's being reported that 2K Games has delayed XCOM, an upcoming FPS reboot of the franchise, to next calendar year.
The news comes from the new issue of Game Informer, which contains first details about the recently announced XCOM: Enemy Unknown strategy game. This will now be the primary title to revive the franchise, while the shooter has been pushed to 2013.
XCOM was originally announced in early 2010, but has since faced multiple delays. Game was said to be coming for PC, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3.
