Issue 22: Death Incarnate the first DLC to launch after free to play transition
NCsoft and Paragon Studios have announced the upcoming launch of City of Heroes Issue 22: Death Incarnate DLC.
The first major free update to City of Heroes Freedom since going free-to-play, Issue 22: Death Incarnate introduces new powers, costumes, VIP-member content and endgame trials.
Dark Astoria becomes a Co-op Incarnate Zone in Death Incarnate, allowing level +50 players to traverse the dark, twisted, undead nightmare that has become Dark Astoria. A new Power Set for Controllers and Dominators, Darkness Control allows players to command shadows and spectral minions to terrorize their foes.
More content for all levels is also included, with new Mission Arcs in Steel Canyon and Cap au Diable, and a new Adamastor Zone Event.
