STALKER 2 still in development, claims studio

Following a near-collapse of developers GSC Game World in late 2011, it seems there is new hope that the studio’s upcoming game, STALKER 2, may yet see the light of day.
Posting on the game’s official Facebook page, the studio exclaimed: “The Stalker team is extremely happy! Why? Because we are continuing work on Stalker 2 after the holidays.”
Though the whole situation is still unclear to most people outside of the company itself, this seems to be a reason for fans to keep their hopes up. This is also the latest in a series of signs of life from the studio, with Tweets late last year also claiming that the game is still alive.
STALKER 2 was originally announced a few years ago, and was said to be coming to consoles for the first time, alongside PC.
