First Modern Warfare 3 DLC to arrive in January
CoD Elite Premium members on Xbox 360 to get the content first
Activision has revealed first details about the upcoming Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 DLC.
An email was sent out to CoD: Elite Premium members last week, along with an episode of Roll Call on Elite TV, confirmed that Infinity Ward, Sledgehammer Games, and Raven Software are all working on MW3 DLC. A date for the first content was also announced as January 24, 2012 for Elite premium members on Xbox 360.
Due to a business arrangement from 2010, Xbox 360 gets DLC content ahead of other platforms, and Activision has promised Elite subscribers will get DLC content ahead of the general public. Thus the rollout between the PC/PS3/360 platforms and Premium and non-premium members will likely be fairly staggered over time.
Premium members of Elite service already paid off for all DLC, while free users will need to pay up - no prices for the DLC have yet been revealed.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 was released in November for all three platforms.
