RAAM's Shadow DLC released for Gears of War 3
New content promises story insight, hours of gameplay
Available today on Xbox LIVE for 1,200 Microsoft Points, Microsoft has released the second major game add-on for Gears of War 3 - RAAM’s Shadow, which features missions on both sides of the Locust war.
Set in post-Emergence Day Sera, RAAM’s Shadow drops players into a new team of Gears known as Zeta Squad as they attempt to evacuate Ilima City and protect the citizens against a Locust Kryll storm. Taking on the infamous Locust leader from the original Gears of War General RAAM, Zeta features Michael Barrick, Lt. Minh Young Kim, and Tai Kaliso, and introduces a new female comrade, Alicia Valera.
In addition to fighting as a new squad of Gears, players will step into the boots of RAAM himself.
The DLC also includes the Chocolate Weapon Set, new Achievements worth an additional 250 Gamerscore and six new multiplayer characters, including General RAAM, the Theron Elite Commando, Alicia Valera, Lt. Minh Young Kim, Tai Kaliso and Michael Barrick.
Developed exclusively for Xbox 360 by Epic Games, Gears of War 3 is available now.
