Owners of Batman's latest adventure on PC find DirectX 11 issues, WB promises a patch
With Batman: Arkham City having been released on PC last week, users are now reporting there are problems with the game's performance in DirectX 11 mode.
Users have been reporting very poor performance when running the game in DX 11 mode, and publisher Warner Bros has now acknowledged the problem and promises a patch.
"We’re working on a title update to address this matter and expect to make it available in the near future," reads the announcement. "In the meantime, a workaround for this issue is to run the game with DX 9 instead of DX 11."
Support for DX11 and 3D Tech was one of the main selling points for Batman: Arkham City PC version, which released last week. The Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions of the game were out in October.
