Flight sim arrives at retail today, DLC planned
Namco Bandai has announced that Ace Combat: Assault Horizon is now available in stores across North America.
Ace Combat: Assault Horizon introduces a close-range assault system that delivers high-speed acrobatics and one-on-one encounters. Players will engage in combat across the globe, dodging skyscrapers, and turning their enemies into fiery supersonic debris in both single player and online multiplayer.
“This was a chance for us to take the franchise in a completely new direction, and that is exactly what we have accomplished with Ace Combat: Assault Horizon,” said Kazutoki Kono, Producer and Executive Director at Project Aces, Namco Bandai. “We’re excited for both long-time fans and newcomers alike to experience the greatest masterpiece of the Ace Combat franchise.”
Premium DLC is scheduled post-launch, featuring a brand new fictional aircraft, the ASF-X Shinden II, CFA-44 Nosferatu, as well as Su-37 Terminator, Tornado GR.4, AV-8B Harrier II Plus, YF-23 Black Widow II, F-15S/MTD and KA-50 Hokum.
Developed by the Project Aces team at Namco Bandai in Japan, Ace Combat: Assault Horizon is available for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
