RPG to arrive on the console this year, new PC patch deploying soon
During its pre-E3 event today, CD Projekt has confirmed that The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings will arrive on the Xbox 360 this year.
The developer promises that the console version will not "compromise" quality on the console port. All of the PC content to date will be present in the Xbox 360 version.
CD Projekt also said that a new patch (v1.2) will arrive tomorrow for PC version of the game. The patch balances the game's prologue, adds the ability to map keys, tweaks "Target locking", TW1 save file import fixes, and more. The patch also adds new DLC allowing players to change Geralt's hairstyle.
It was also said that The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings has sold 400,000 units since launching two weeks ago. Sources of sales, digital or boxed copy, were not confirmed.
The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings was released on May 17th for Windows PC.
