Larry Hryb, Xbox LIVE’s Major Nelson, has announced that the demo for the popular shooter Halo: Reach is now available on Xbox Live.
This first-ever Halo demo drops players right into the action with the “Long Night of Solace” mission from the single player campaign. The demo also includes the competitive multiplayer map “Powerhouse” and a cooperative Firefight mission for Xbox LIVE online play.
The demo is only available for Xbox Live Gold members. In addition, this week only (May 24 – May 30, 2011) the full game is available for a reduced price of $39.99. Halo: Reach was released in 2010 only on Xbox 360.
