Rockstar Games have announced that LA Noire is now available at retail stores everywhere in North America for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, and will be hitting throughout Europe, Australia and Asia Pacific this Friday, May 20th.
Developed by Team Bondi in conjunction with Rockstar Games and set amid the post-war boom of Hollywood’s Golden Age, L.A. Noire puts players in the shoes of decorated World War II veteran turned LAPD detective Cole Phelps as he attempts to unravel the truth behind a string of arson attacks, racketeering conspiracies and brutal murders, battling the L.A. underworld and even members of his own department.
Featuring MotionScan, a new animation technology that captures every nuance of an actor’s facial performance in detail, L.A. Noire promises to deliver the most lifelike characters ever seen in a videogame and creates a whole new type of gameplay using the art of interrogation.
L.A. Noire’s Rockstar Games Social Club features are also now live and available – Social Club members can redeem their exclusive outfit, begin tracking cases and challenges and much more at the official website.
