No online pass for Crysis 2
Developers confirm there will be no online pass requirement for Crysis 2 on consoles
Crytek has confirmed to CVG today that Crysis 2 won't use EA's Online Pass system.
"All we can say/confirm is that we aren't using Online Pass for Crysis 2," the studio said in a brief statement. It is thought that Crytek was able to opt out of using the Online Pass because it's an independent developer, rather than an EA owned studio.
Crysis 2 is coming to PC, Xbox 360, and Playstation 3 on March 22nd.
