Exact Locations of All 5 ? Panels in Boo Cinema - Mario Kart World Guide

Find out where to locate all 5 question mark panels in Boo Cinema, Mario Kart World, and unlock exclusive stickers and progress toward Mirror Mode access.

Posted on

In Mario Kart World, ? Panels are one of three Free Roam collectibles, and they are located in and around the tracks and grant a specific sticker when driven over. There are 150 ? Panels total across 30 courses, excluding Rainbow Road. Players must collect at least ten ? Panels to unlock Mirror Mode. Boo Cinema contains five ? Panels. Each is located in a specific part of the course and awards a unique sticker.

The first panel is located behind the start line. Upon loading into the track, the player must turn around and drive along a stone path. The panel is positioned directly in front of the cinema entrance, and it awards the Blue Yoshi Vintage Poster Sticker.

The second panel is in the Cinema Exit Room. After collecting the first panel, the player must follow the track forward into a red-carpeted room with a large chandelier. Before leaving the room, the player must turn left and drive up a slight incline. The panel is at the top of the incline, and it awards the King Boo Circle Sticker.

The third panel is on the Theater Balcony. From the previous panel, the player must continue up an incline into the balcony area. After passing through a door near a P-Switch and taking the right exit, the panel is located on the balcony, and it awards the Wampire Vintage Poster Sticker.

The fourth panel in Boo Cinema is located above the Auditorium Entrance. To reach it, the player must re-enter the theater and stand near the boost pad close to the screen. From there, the player must drop down to the awning above the auditorium doors. The panel is on the awning, and it awards the Birdo Vintage Poster Sticker.

The fifth panel is located behind a curtain. The player must go to the front of the stage and look at the left wall where a red curtain is hanging. Behind the curtain, on the wall, is the panel. The player must perform a trick off a nearby ramp and wall ride to reach it. This panel awards the Boo Castle Vintage Poster Sticker.

During gameplay in Mario Kart Tour, a different title in the series, Nintendo used a system called Spotlight Pipes, which lets players spend rubies to receive randomized in-game items, including drivers, karts, and gliders. In September 2022, Nintendo removed Spotlight Pipes and introduced a Spotlight Shop that allowed players to purchase items directly with rubies.

In March 2023, a class-action lawsuit was filed against Nintendo. The plaintiff, a minor identified as “N.A.,” claimed to have spent over $170 on Spotlight Pipes. The lawsuit stated that the system used “immoral microtransactions” and encouraged behavior similar to online gambling. The Spotlight Pipe system was already discontinued when the lawsuit was filed. These mechanics are not present in Mario Kart World.

Panels do not appear as question marks after being collected. In screenshots taken after collection, the panels are not visible. In the game, uncollected ? Panels are bright yellow and positioned in fixed locations.
