30 New Xbox Games Arrive This Week

Explore all 30 new Xbox games released this week, including Cookie Clicker, Fantasy Life i, Onimusha 2, and more for Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One.

This week is one of the biggest for Xbox in 2025. From May 20 to May 23, Xbox is releasing 30 new games across Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Windows, and Xbox Play Anywhere. The lineup spans nearly every genre—action, RPGs, puzzle games, simulators, fighters—including fresh releases, remasters, and long-awaited console debuts.

To make it easier to follow, here’s a day-by-day breakdown of what’s releasing and where.

May 20 Releases

  • RoadCraft (Xbox Series X|S)
    • Developer: Focus Entertainment, Saber Interactive
    • Price: $39.99
    • Description: You lead a company restoring disaster-damaged roads, bridges, and sites. You clear debris, repair equipment, and restart industries after storms. There are 44 achievements to unlock.

May 21 Releases

  • Cipher Monk (Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Windows)
    • Developer: AFIL Games
    • Description: A relaxing number puzzle game based on a forgotten 13th-century number system. You decode and arrange ancient symbols from 1 to 9999.
       
  • Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time (Xbox Series X|S)
    • Developer: Level-5
    • Description: A slow-life RPG where you pick from 14 job roles (“Lives”) and shape a fantasy island. You can fish, cook, mine, or fight monsters. Supports solo and multiplayer.
       
  • Knight’s Night! (Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One)

    • Description: A 1-bit black-and-white platformer. You save the kingdom by running, jumping, and dashing through 25 retro-style levels filled with traps and enemies.

    • Description: A peaceful puzzle game where you untangle colorful yarn by swapping tiles. No timers or pressure. Includes a custom soundtrack.
